Inspired by the Maclean of Duart clan’s tartan whose descendants, as part of the Smedley family, help to operate the John Smedley business to this day, our new John Smedley Classic Tartan beautifully combines various shades of blue, green and grey. A truly versatile, timeless piece.
Available as part of our 100% merino wool woven scarves collection, this legacy cloth was designed in collaboration with the last remaining artisanal mill in the Highlands, which runs off renewable energy. The yarns were sustainably spun on the edges of Loch Levan and then woven in Scotland using certified fibres. From tassel to tassel, our John Smedley Classic Tartan Merino Wool Scarf is fully traceable throughout the localised supply chain.
Iconic in design, luxury in feel, made in Scotland.Â
