Collars have been used by John Smedley ever since the men’s polo shirt, Isis was launched in the 1930s. We use six different collar designs, which are knitted at our Lea Mills factory in Derbyshire.
How to take body measurements

1. Shoulder Width
Measured from the seam where the sleeves join the body part of the garment.

2. Chest Circumference
Measure across the fullest part of the chest, from one side to the other, then double for circumference.

3. Waist
For Trousers - Measure around your natural waistline at the belly button.

4. Body Length
Measure from the top of the shoulder to the bottom of body.

5. Sleeve length
Measured from under the armpit to the cuff, on the inside of the arm.

6. Inside Leg
For Trousers - Measure from the top of your inside leg at the crotch to the ground without shoes.
