The 30-gauge is our most lightweight knit and is ideal for the warmer months of the year as it’s thin enough to be worn under tailoring without adding unnecessary bulk to your frame. Our merino wool menswear is recognised as the ultimate transeasonal staple; regulating your body temperature to keep you comfortable throughout the day and in to the evening.
In the autumn and winter months, you’re more likely to find a range of 24-gauge medium weight knitwear. Whilst still lightweight, we find the 24-guage more suitable when the temperatures are dropping. It’s still fine enough to be worn under tailoring but offers a touch more protection against the elements than the 30.
