Pretty Green is a British Fashion brand that was founded in 2009 by ex-Oasis frontman Liam Gallagher. Unsurprisingly the brand is synonymous with British Rock culture; this is echoed in its designs and collections. Pieces often provide a nod to styles donned by musical icons of the past.

John Smedley have teamed up with Pretty Green for Spring/Summer ’17 to produce a capsule collection of garments that champion Pretty Green’s infamous Modernist designs with John Smedley’s prestigious craftsmanship capabilities.

The range has produced 4 styles:
Bonneville
Our long sleeve shirt featuring contrasting piping on the button placket.
Available in Black and Inca Gold

Chartham
Our short sleeve Polo shirt that features an intarsia striped pattern on the front.
Available in Snow White and Black.

Connaught
Our textured pullover boasting a hooped stripe throughout.
Available in Snow White and Charcoal.

Wilshaw
Our crew neck pullover that displays Pretty Green’s iconic paisley motif throughout.
Available in White.

“The 1960’s mod scene has long been associated with the John Smedley ethos, so the collaboration with Pretty Green made perfect sense. The pieces have a nod to retro prints, but the fit and design detail keep them thoroughly contemporary, and with the likes of The Beatles known to have loved and worn John Smedley products back in this era, this collection seems the quintessential celebration of both our heritage and modern design.”

“It’s been an absolute privilege to work with such an iconic British knitwear brand where equality, craftsmanship and style all work in harmony. We’re delighted with the collaboration for our spring summer 17 black label collection.”
