It was an evening of glamour and celebration with more than 800 people in the room, including many of the most powerful and influential figures in the UK fashion retail industry.

Eric Musgrave (far right, photo) , Editorial Director, Drapers, said: “Once again the Drapers Awards has spotlighted the immense talents that exist within the fashion retailing sector. Despite the continually challenging trading environment, our retail winners and those from the supplier side of the business have shown themselves to be both creative and commercially adept. This was a great night for a great industry.”

The talented Dara O’Briain (far left, photo) was the host for the evening and the genial Irishman helped make the night a memorable one.

The Drapers Awards are the highest profile gathering for fashion retailers in the UK, bringing together the very best that the UK fashion business has to offer. With 16 categories, the awards covered a wide range of achievements in fashion retailing.

We have also projected a more contemporary brand image through our marketing campaigns and participation in London Collections: Men events.

As we approach our 230th year next year, we are buoyed up by a sense that we are just beginning to see the opportunities that lie ahead for a great brand like ours. We are becoming more confident that our core brand values, founded on ‘Made in Great Britain’, are attractive to consumers the world over, and we will be taking on more staff next year to help us grow.”
