Here is a premium accessory brand that if you’re not aware of already, you need to be. Established in 2007, Cherchbi is the brain child of Adam Atkinson who’s passion for high quality products made from sustainable sources is reflected in a beautiful array of British made accessories. The current collection offers a range of bags from weekend to satchel and leather belts, all handmade in Britain. A fusion of heritage techniques, craftsmanship, premium components and modern design results in a collection of unique accessories that will last for years to come.
The bags use wool from the ancient rare-breed Herdwick and after Cherchbi conducted numerous weave trails over a period of four years, a new British tweed, Herdwyck No.10 was launched . Herdwyck No.10 is used alongside 100% cotton canvas, British saddle leather and solid brass for the ultimate in refined luxury.

I was watching Daybreak yesterday and absolutely loved the feature on the Olympic themed yarnbombing in Saltburn by the Sea. We’ve spoken on the blog before about ‘yarnbombing’ but for those unfamiliar with the concept, knitters will take over areas of towns and knit undercover, often at night. The knitters who have created this masterpiece remain unknown, however it is thought to have been carried out by a group of yarnbombers. You can find this visual feast in Saltburn by the Sea and it is a must see for everyone visiting the area.
